Pineapple Upside-down Cake / பைனாப்பிள் அப்சைட் - டவுன் கேக் / Bake with me #5

 

Hello Everyone,

Please check this video on how to make a pineapple upside-down cake.

Ingredients :

My 1 cup measures 240 ml

For caramel:
Sugar - 1/2 to 2/3 cup
Pineapple slices - 4 to 5

Maida - 85 gms
Butter (room temperature) - 85 gms
Powdered sugar - 85 gms
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Eggs - 2
Pineapple essence - 1 tsp
Pineapple syrup/juice - 1/4 cup
Yellow food color (Optional) - A pinch
Warm Milk - 1/2 cup (Optional, Only used if required to correct the consistency of the cake batter)

Note:
I've used pineapple slices and syrup from canned pineapple tin.
