Please check this video on how to make a bakery style tea cake.
Ingredients:
My 1 cup measures 240 ml
Maida / flour - 3/4 cup
Milk powder - half of 1/3 cup
Salt - a small pinch
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Baking soda - a small pinch
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
Dry fruits (tutti frutti, dried pineapple and cherries) - 1/4 cup (coat with 1 tsp Maida)
Eggs - 3
Pineapple essence - 1/2 tsp
Yellow food color (Optional) - 1/4 tsp
Butter - 100 gms
Please note:
1. Baking pan prep: Grease the baking pan with butter and line it with butter paper.
2. You can replace pineapple essence with any of your favourite flavours.
